Bare Escentuals Glasgow boutique opens

Our client Bare Escentuals have opened their latest boutique at Buchanan Galleries located in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The boutique, comprising some 1,100 sq ft, occupies a prominent location on Buchanan Street at the entrance to the lower level of the scheme. Retailers located within Buchanan Galleries include John Lewis, Hollister, H&M, Mango, Miss Selfridge etc.

Bare Escentuals opens at Dukes Lane, Brighton

Today sees the opening of Bare Escentuals latest boutique, located in Dukes Lane Brighton, in the famous historic quarter known at The Lanes which contains a collection of vibrant streets full of character, offering an interesting mix of shops, cafés and restaurants.

Comprising some 580 sq ft, the boutique previously occupied by Addict, is located between MAC and Aveda, with other retailers in Dukes Lane including Oasis, Mimco, Ted Baker, Fat Face, Fred Perry etc.

Bare Escentuals ‘Swirl, Tap, Buff’ in to The Maltings, St Albans

Bare Escentuals third stand alone UK boutique opened last week at The Maltings Shopping Centre, St Albans, Hertfordshire.

 

As retained agents, Lewis Craig negotiated and acquired the 852 sq ft boutique on behalf of Bare Escentuals in this busy town centre scheme. The EFM owned shopping centre boasts over 57 shops and cafes including brands such as Office, H&M, Kurt Geiger, Body Shop, Huttons and Costa Coffee.

Rob Wickenden says, “The Maltings is where we had to be in St Albans as it is a busy scheme with constant footfall throughout the week. The boutique is in a great location fronting the court yard and is very visible within the scheme.”

With several other locations under consideration for 2011, Bare Escentuals are progressing well on their UK boutique roll-out.

Bare Escentuals arrive on time at Windsor Royal Station

Acting on behalf of retained clients Bare Escentuals, Lewis Craig recently completed the acquisition of their second UK boutique located in the grandeur of the refurbished Victorian railway station, Windsor Royal Station Shopping. The shopping centre, owned by AXA Sunlife, attracts over 160,000 weekly visitors and has a catchment of 1.8million people.

The 520 sq ft boutique was created from the split of a larger unit and has been transformed in to a fantastically stylish and female friendly environment.

 

Rob Wickenden says, “As soon as I looked over the premises I knew this was where Bare Escentuals had to be in Windsor. The triple aspect glazing gives the boutique a light and airy feel and perfect for showing the theatre of the Bare Escentuals make under.”

With the St Albans boutique set to open in November of this year, together with several other locations under consideration for 2011, Bare Escentuals are progressing well on their UK boutique roll-out.

Bare Escentuals first boutique outside of USA

Lewis Craig identified and advised Bare Escentuals, a world leader in the mineral-based cosmetics market, on the acquisition of their first stand alone boutique located outside of the USA. The flagship 450 sq ft boutique is nestled in the heart of the world famous shopping destination, Covent Garden on Neal Street.

Speaking on the deal Richard Grossman comments:

“This is an ideal location being in an established cosmetics pitch alongside MAC and Organic Pharmacy with the perfect profile of customer. We are certain that this will trade extremely successfully and pave the way for further high street expansion.”

Other sites are currently under consideration for 2010 openings and opportunities are required offering 450/650 sq ft in high footfall locations.

Bare Escentuals opened their first boutique in San Francisco in 1976 and have grown and grown. They are now a world leader in the mineral-based cosmetics market, being one of the fastest growing premium cosmetic companies in the USA and now the UK. They are successfully trading in Selfridges and other department stores across the country.
