Richard Grossman

Richard has over four decades of experience at Lewis Craig.

His areas of activity include acquisition work on a nationwide basis for occupier, investor and developer clients, strategic consulting to growing retail and restaurant operations, advising insolvency practitioners on individual and portfolio disposals, as well as general advisory consulting for retained clients.

Richard enjoys long term relationships with a wide range of clients from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the USA.

Married with two sons, Richard is a keen long distance runner, completing 4 marathons to date. He also enjoys skiing and playing tennis and can frequently be found at White Hart Lane.

Theo Benedyk, BSc (Hons) MSc

Theo heads up the agency department, involved in both acquisition and disposal activity on a nationwide basis, acting for a wide range of UK-based and International clients. He also advises the professional and asset management teams, liaising closely on rent reviews, lease renewals and active estate management matters.

He joined the practice in 2009 having completed his Real Estate Valuation and Management degree at The University of The West of England in Bristol, subsequently completing a Masters in Real Estate Development at The University of Westminster.

Theo particularly enjoys advising clients with their expansion strategies and adding value to client disposal programmes to maximise portfolio performance. He passionately follows the F1 calendar and can always be found in one of London’s latest new eateries.

Jeffrey Craig, FRICS

One of the founders of the practice in 1972, Jeffrey has a vast amount of industry experience, market knowledge, a loyal client following and an extensive network of contacts.

He now specialises in strategic asset management – working with clients on the creation, make up and development of their commercial property investment portfolios, which includes the carrying out of selected professional work.

Away from the office Jeffrey enjoys playing tennis, sailing and cycling, that is when he is not being taken for long walks over the Sussex Downs by his Otterhounds.

Justin Lester, MA BA(Hons) MRICS

Justin has over 20 years’ experience specialising in rent reviews and lease renewals nationwide, including preparation of expert witness reports. He has worked closely with a wide mix of clients, both landlords and tenants, advising on high street and shopping centre retail and restaurant units.

He enjoys a long-term working relationship with a number of clients, with a thorough, no-nonsense approach to get the best out of their property.

Justin is married with three children. He likes running, sailing and five-a-side football when time allows. He also follows Arsenal, although he doesn’t always enjoy this activity quite as much.

Andrew Taylor

Having joined Lewis Craig in 1997, previously with a major UK pension fund, Andrew moved across to our alliance partners Mayfield Asset & Property Management Limited in June 2022, where he continues to asset manage our client’s portfolios.

As well as dealing with all aspects of day-to-day property management, he enjoys strong Landlord and Tenant working relationships, as well as co-ordinating with other property professionals and advisors to ensure that our client’s interests are best protected.

Andrew is particularly adept at enhancing portfolio performance through a pro-active approach to management.

A lifelong supporter of Derby County FC and as a result very much a realist! His broad interest in music and love of the outdoors makes him one of the more eclectic members of the team.

Patrick McDonald

Patrick McDonald FRSA, our Hospitality Specialist Consultant, has for the past forty years created a distinguished name within the Hospitality and Catering Industry, whose style has been described as of the “classic foundation, modern eclectic and simple”.

Patrick has created, opened and influenced many leading Hotel Groups, Restaurants and Hospitality projects, along with Food Retail stores and Foodhalls.

Over the years he has become an industry figurehead, opinion former, developing strategies for a multitude of prestigious clients and their projects/sites, by in large the consultancy services provide a 360 degree turnkey solution for all facets of the business.

As a Celebrated Michelin starred Chef, Restaurateur and F&B Consultant Pat enjoys dining out and reviewing the world of gastronomy and food cultures, his personal hobbies include game shooting, fishing, rugby and gardening.

Philip Woolf

Philip, as consultant to Lewis Craig, brings with him 40 years of experience in the residential property sector, within prime central London and areas within the UK.

In addition, he jointly managed the Grosvenor Residential Investment Fund, is director of a property investment company handling a wide variety of residential and mixed use investments and continues to advise High Net Worth individuals on asset purchases.

This vast experience enables our clients to benefit from high level residential input and expertise on retail and other commercial assets offering scope for re-purposing.

Downtime includes a combination of daily exercise routine, socialising and enjoying time with family and his four grandchildren.

David Collins

David is a Chartered Surveyor with over 45 years’ experience specialising in the roadside property sector.

He is regularly involved with vehicle dealerships, petrol filling stations, tyre & exhaust centres and drive thru restaurants.

In addition to his commercial agency activities, David is an expert Landlord & Tenant surveyor dealing with rent reviews and lease renewals as well as general lease advisory matters in his specialist sector.

He is an RICS Accredited Mediator and is appointed by the RICS to act as an Independent Expert on rent review disputes.

He acts for a wide range of clients including landlords, tenants, property investors and local authorities.

David is married with two adult children. He enjoys listening to jazz, walking and theatre. A lifelong Arsenal supporter, although mostly from the armchair these days.

Andrew Rosen

For nearly four decades now Andrew has specialised in all aspects of office agency, investment and development work.

Andrew enjoys the variety of acting on behalf of both Landlords and tenants so his daily work involves both acquisitions and disposals for Corporate and Private Landlords and large and small tenants. By doing so he critically understands the needs and demands of both sides.

He is also regularly involved in giving strategic advice and at all times prides himself on providing the highest level of personal service to all clients which has helped maintain many of his client relationships and continued business for over 35 years.

Married with children and grandchildren Andrew’s interests include having a season ticket at Arsenal which he regularly attends with his son. From time to time this causes conflicts in the office as a number of his colleagues support Spurs!

Otherwise, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
