L’Osteria’s first UK restaurant opens in Bristol!

With over 60 restaurants across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Lewis Craig advise L’Osteria on their UK debut in Hammerson’s Cabot Circus scheme in Bristol. The first L’Osteria opened in 1999 in Nuremberg, Bavaria. Since then, their recipe has stood the test of time with fresh Italian cuisine, laid-back atmosphere and the best pizzas going well beyond the edge of the plate.

For their UK debut, four units in the Quakers Friars square have been combined, to provide the popular pizza and pasta restaurant with an exceptional 220 cover venue, over some 6,100 sq ft.

The restaurant benefits from full-height glazed windows (many of which fully fold open during in the warmer months), a prominent return frontage towards the Broadmead shopping area, and a first floor hosting an impressive private dining area with views over the Quaker Friars square.

Bristol was chosen for its vibrant social scene, and its willingness to embrace new food and drink concepts. L’Osteria will sit adjacent to a brand new Cote Brasserie, and opposite Brasserie Blanc, serving their signature 18 inch pizzas and fresh pasta dishes that use authentic Italian ingredients.

Expect a chic bar area, cosy booth seating, plus larger tables for families and groups of friends.

L’Osteria will be using local suppliers such as Bristol Beer Factory, Orchard Pig and French Garden Produce, in addition to their imported specialist Italian ingredients. Those who visit will be able to enjoy anything from a coffee or cocktail at the bar to a full seated meal, including weekly seasonal specials.

Lewis Craig are very proud to be advising L’Osteria, and look forward to expanding the brand across The UK. Their second UK restaurant in the impressive new Watermark Southampton scheme is already being fitted-out. Where to next!
