Lewis Craig were instructed by property company ACAI to source a special Tenant for 6 Sackville Street in Mayfair, following the departure of former long-standing occupiers Meyer & Mortimer.

Meyer & Mortimer are tailors who since 1955 had the privilege and honour to hold a Royal Warrant from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Following an extensive exercise, we were delighted to have built a strong rapport with chef Carlo Scotto and his team, following their success at Xier in Marylebone, to discuss the vision for their new venture ‘Amethyst’.

Within weeks of opening, The Guardian’s Grace Dent called Amethyst “One of the UK’s best restaurants”.

We are delighted to have played a key role in this success story and wish them well for years to come.
