Our Burger King franchisee client CPL Foods Ltd, have recently opened at the ‘The Hildreds Shopping Centre’ in Skegness. The restaurant fronts the main High Street, Lumley Road and sits at the entrance of the scheme between H Samuel and Burton.
The premises, previously occupied by Frankie & Benny’s, comprise a double fronted restaurant, offering an overall area of approximately 4,800 sq ft, over ground and first floors. Lewis Craig acted for CPL Foods Ltd in the negotiating process.
Lamen Reddy, Operations Director of CPL Foods Ltd says: “We are very happy to bring a Burger King restaurant to Skegness and are overwhelmed by the support and feel very encouraged by the buzz being created from the local community.”
CPL Foods Ltd operate several other Burger Kings and are now seeking further sites, with 25 required over the next 5 years throughout the UK. The Skegness Burger King is a perfect example of the type of High Street location required, in addition to requirements for shopping centre food-courts and drive-thru opportunities.
Please speak to Ben Pistol or Richard Grossman for further information in relation to this clients requirements.
Our client Karali Group have this week opened at Kingsway in a superb location, alongside the recently opened Wagamama, opposite Holborn Station close to the junction of High Holborn. Lewis Craig acted for Karali in the negotiating process.
Karali now operate over 60 Burger King restaurants throughout the UK. We are actively seeking more Central London opportunities like this, alongside or very close to Underground and Mainline Stations. This being in addition to our client’s requirement for drive-thru, high-street and food-court opportunities nationwide.
Without doubt, our fastest deal in 2012 was the acquisition of 33-35 London Road, Twickenham on behalf of our Burger King franchisee client, Karali Leisure Ltd. The premises comprise approx. 2,000 sq ft at ground floor, with an impressive 30 ft frontage.
Having first viewed with our client on 26 October, the letting completed on 9 November – a pretty impressive 11 working days from start to finish (including obtaining landlord’s consent)!
A 3-week fit-out then followed, with the premises opening on 1 December.
Ben Pistol comments, “From our experience, it is rare when everything comes together in such a short time frame at this time of the year! We are now actively seeking to secure for Karali more high street opportunities, as well as drive thru and shopping centre representation.”
